Please read this page before submitting an enquiry. Composite Gates UK operates as an introducer service. We connect customers with local independent fabricators and installers. We are not a gate manufacturer, installation company or contractor, and we are not party to any commercial agreement between you and your fabricator.
Part A — Terms of Use & Disclaimer
1. About Composite Gates UK
Composite Gates UK (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a trading name of Zest Innovation Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under Company Reg. 08491883, with registered address at 4 Marlborough Road, Woodthorpe, Nottingham NG5 4FG.
Composite Gates UK operates as an introducer platform. Our service connects individuals and businesses (“customers”) who are seeking composite or metal gate fabrication and installation services with independent local fabricators and installers (“fabricators”) who provide those services.
Composite Gates UK is not a fabricator, manufacturer, installer, contractor or agent. We do not manufacture gates, carry out installations or provide any aftercare or maintenance services.
2. How the service works
When you submit an enquiry through the Composite Gates UK website, by telephone or by email, the following will happen:
- Your enquiry details — including your name, contact information, location and project requirements — will be passed to a local fabricator in our network who covers your area.
- The fabricator will contact you directly, using the contact details you have provided, to discuss your requirements and provide a quote.
- Any subsequent communication, site visits, measurements, quotations, agreements and commercial transactions will take place directly between you and the fabricator.
- Composite Gates UK plays no further role once the introduction has been made.
By submitting an enquiry, you consent to your contact details and project information being shared with a local fabricator for the purpose of following up on your enquiry.
3. Your relationship with fabricators
Fabricators in the Composite Gates UK network are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents or subcontractors of Composite Gates UK or Zest Innovation Ltd. They operate their own businesses independently and are solely responsible for:
- The quality, specification, measurement and execution of any work carried out
- The materials used, and any manufacturer warranty attaching to those materials
- All pricing, payment terms and invoicing
- Any warranties, guarantees or aftercare commitments made in relation to their work
- Compliance with applicable laws, regulations and safety standards, including — where a gate is automated — the safety requirements applicable to powered gates
- Obtaining or advising on any planning permission that may be required
- Their own insurance, public liability cover and professional indemnity
Any contract for work is formed solely between you and the fabricator. Composite Gates UK is not party to that contract and has no obligations or liabilities arising from it.
4. Limitation of liability
Composite Gates UK acts solely as an introducer. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Composite Gates UK shall not be liable for:
- The quality, safety, timeliness or outcome of any work carried out by a fabricator
- Any loss, damage, injury or expense arising from your dealings with a fabricator
- Any dispute between you and a fabricator regarding pricing, workmanship, payment or any other matter
- The accuracy of any pricing indication provided on this website, which is intended as a guide only
- Any failure by a fabricator to contact you, fulfil a quote or complete a project
If you have a complaint about work carried out by a fabricator, this should be raised directly with the fabricator. Composite Gates UK is not able to mediate disputes or accept liability for fabricator conduct.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Product images and specifications
Images shown on this website illustrate the range of gate styles, colours and configurations produced by fabricators within our network. They are provided as examples only.
Composite and timber-effect materials vary in shade and grain between production batches, and colour reproduction differs between screens. Any dimension, material, colour or finish shown should be treated as indicative. The specification for your gate will be confirmed by your fabricator following measurement.
6. Pricing information
Any pricing information displayed on the Composite Gates UK website is provided as a general guide only. Actual costs will depend on the specific requirements of your project, the materials and finish selected, your location, ground conditions and the assessment of the fabricator following a site survey.
All prices shown exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. A binding quote can only be provided by the fabricator directly, following their assessment of your specific project.
7. Payment, warranties and guarantees
All payment terms are agreed directly between you and your fabricator. Composite Gates UK does not handle, process or hold any payments in connection with fabrication or installation work.
Any warranties or guarantees on materials or workmanship are provided by the fabricator and are subject to their own terms. Composite Gates UK makes no warranty in relation to the work of any fabricator.
8. Use of this website
The content of this website is provided for general information only. While we take reasonable care to keep it accurate and current, we make no warranty that it is complete, accurate or up to date, and it should not be relied upon as professional advice.
All text, images, layout and design on this website are owned by or licensed to Zest Innovation Ltd. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. You may not reproduce, republish or distribute any part of this website for commercial purposes without our written permission.
9. Links to other websites
This website may link to other websites, including those operated by related services within our group. Those websites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Composite Gates UK accepts no responsibility for their content or for any service obtained through them.

These terms were last updated in August 2026. Composite Gates UK reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of this website constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute relating to them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

When you complete an enquiry form on this website, we collect your name, email address, telephone number and postcode. If you contact us by telephone, email or social media, we collect the information contained in that communication, which may include details of the gate or fencing project you are considering, your address and your availability.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, we and our analytics providers automatically collect technical information including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from your IP address, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the website or advertisement that referred you.
We do not knowingly collect any special category data (such as information about health, ethnicity or religious belief), and we ask that you do not include such information in an enquiry.

We do not use your enquiry details to send you marketing about unrelated products or services, and we will not add you to a mailing list without asking you first.
14. Who we share your information with
Fabricators in our network
The whole purpose of our service is to introduce you to a local fabricator. When you submit an enquiry, your name, contact details, postcode and project information are passed to the fabricator covering your area so that they can contact you directly. That fabricator is an independent business and becomes a data controller in its own right for the information it receives. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy, which you can request from them.
We pass your enquiry to one fabricator, not to several. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
We use third-party providers who process data on our behalf in order to run this website and our business, including our website hosting and enquiry form platform, our email provider, our telephone and call-handling provider, and the analytics and advertising providers described in section 15.
Legal disclosure
We may disclose personal information where we are required to do so by law, by a court order or by a regulator, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property or safety.
15. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Some are necessary for the site to work; others help us understand how the site is used or measure the performance of our advertising.

16. How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry records for 24 months from the date of your enquiry. This allows us to answer any question about an introduction we made, and to deal with any complaint that arises after a project has completed.
After that period, enquiry records are deleted or anonymised. Where we are required to keep records for longer to meet a legal or accounting obligation, we keep only what that obligation requires.
17. Where your information is stored
Your information is stored on servers operated by our website and email providers. Some of these providers, including Google, are based outside the United Kingdom or process data internationally.
Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law — such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement — so that your data receives an equivalent standard of protection.
18. Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections to this website and access controls on the systems that hold enquiry data.
No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us financial details such as card or bank account numbers by email or through this website.
