We only use a couple of suppliers for our composite panels as we know the quality of the product and their dimensions. However, if you have a very specific composite panel colour or style that you want and have seen it somewhere online then either, you or us, can order these to have shipped to our fabrication site. As all of our gates are made to measure, our fabrication team can accommodate most requests.

However, experience has told us that offering too many choices can lead to indecision, disagreements and a lot of lost time. So when our surveyor comes to measure up they will bring samples of our most popular boards enabling you to see the colours in natural light and feel their textured finish.

A composite gate is a long term investment into your property so we want to be sure that you are happy with the choices you've made before fabrication commences.

This can also include the height positioning of the gate. You may have existing outdoor fixtures and fittings such as ground floor eves, which may effect gate positioning and post height? Or you may have small pets that you need to remain inside your back garden when left to roam free. Alternatively you want to leave a gap for your cat or even hedgehogs to be able to wander into your garden. All these scenarios can be discussed with your surveyor.

Composite Gate Options

Composite Fencing

As part of a wider landscaping project it is very common that the homeowner has decided that they want a composite fencing. It's only natural to want a matching composite gate to continue the consistent theme throughout. Fortunately all out local installation teams are well versed in installing composite fencing.

Most composite fencing option come with the option of using a concrete post channel adapter which means that if you have solid existing concrete posts you can utilise these and install composite fencing using your existing posts. This can make a massive difference to the overall cost of a composite fence, especially if you have a long run of fencing as the composite posts, which are often made of aluminium are one of the most costly elements of a composite fence. They do look very slick and neat as do the matching composite screens (trellis) and can really transform your garden along with your matching composite gate.

Composite Decking

Composite decking has come on a long way over the years and provide a long lasting decking platform that will last a very long time.

There are a few options to consider when choosing composite decking other than the obvious one which are the deck boards themselves. Generally speaking your deck board choice will be based on the colour and the texture either an embossed wood effect or a smoother grooved option. Typically composite board manufacture produce one board with one of these options on each side so the cost will be the same. The main are that savings can be made if you really want composite decking but or on a tight budget is to have these laid on a timber platform.

Whilst this may seem slightly counter intuitive the this wooden joist used for a decking framework should easily last 15 years, especially if they are being protected by composite boards.
